Definition of Vehicular Assault

Vehicular assault can occur when a driver operates any type of vehicle in a manner which is considered reckless, if they display disregard for the safety of another person, and the driver's reckless actions cause harm or loss to another person or passenger. Drivers who are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol can also be charged with vehicular assault if their driving actions injure or harm another person.
