Definition of Liability Insurance

Liability insurance costs less than full coverage insurance which provides compensation for other driver's vehicles involved in a car accident, as well as medical compensation and property damage. Liability insurance will only cover losses suffered by the other parties. It will not cover losses for your property or medical expenses.
