What does Judge mean?

A judge has specific duties to preside over the court, interpret laws and issue orders for law enforcement. The judge is not an advocate for either the defense or the plaintiff. They are an impartial observer who has the responsibility to review the evidence against the defendant and decide what evidence is admissible in the court. In some cases the judge may also rule whether or not the defendant is guilty or not if the defendant forfeits their right to a jury trial.
