Definition of General Damages

General damages in a car accident are damages or losses which a victim has suffered from the negligence of another driver. General damages can include pain and suffering, loss of companionship, hedonic damages and future pain and suffering. General damages are generally difficult to calculate, and car accident plaintiffs may need to consult a car accident lawyer.
