Definition of Attorney Client Privilege

Attorney client privilege refers to the privilege to refuse to disclose any information which was exchanged in confidential communications between a car accident lawyer and their client. The goal of this privilege is to encourage open communication between the car accident lawyer and his client. This protection extends to disclosures from discovery at a car accident trial.
